If I were a rich man, and Sir Hiram Carlton in particular, whoever came up with this ad would get the boot so fast that the revolving door would still be spinning a month later. In general, I think beer drinkers prefer to drink beer before it gets turned into other liquids. Then again, I don't necessarily speak for absolutely everyone.

(Update: apparently I just don't get it. It's still not a very good ad. Or maybe it is - after all, I'm giving them free publicity. What a sucker I am.)

The cinematic experience for today was Run Silent Run Deep, an incredibly good submarine movie. Who would have thought Burt Lancaster could act? The makers of Crimson Tide may have watched this one just a few times.
